Pine, original red painted finish, Shaker paper label on front “Shakers Genuine Garden Seeds, Mount Lebanon, N.Y.”, small handwritten label on top in pencil “J Hay, Easton”, (probably the merchant who sold the seeds), interior label under lid is missing, sectioned interior with labels for seed packets “Beets, Carrots, Sage and Pepper, Tomato Flowers, Corn” are intact, wire hinged lid, overall good condition, 3 1/2″ h, 23 3/8″ w, 11 1/2″ d, (ex.
