Poplarware, kid leather trimmed “Fancy Goods” sewing box, lined in light blue silk with silk ribbon hinges, in original “Canterbury Shakers” gray cardboard box, 2 3/4″ h, 4 1/2″ sq; measure and pincushion, three leather sewing wrap boxes with interiors lined in silk with needle book, silk ribbon, thread holders; and a silk and leather oblong-shaped sewing kit, a cased tape measure, hand-numbered and used by the North Family New Lebanon Shakers, (sold WHA 1982, Pittsfield, MA, Lot 194, #1068 Bissland collection); Sister’s purple printed cotton pincushion, with 2″ strawberry emery and beeswax cube, mauve silk ribbons; (from a Cape Cod collection).
