Maple and pine, original soft chrome yellow stained finish, three fingers, (note: top finger on lid is 1 1/4″ longer than other fingers on box, and this lid fits so smoothly to the base much like a hand in a glove), copper tacks, “7” written in pencil under lid, 8 7/8″ l, (Hazel and Robert Belfit collection).
