Pine, traces of red, rectangular board back with shelf for candle holder, enclosed shelf below with carved sides (possibly to hold wood matches), symmetrically nailed construction, hole in top of board for peg, c. 1860, 24″ h, 9 1/2″ w; along with a 19th c. tin “hog scrape” candle holder, 6″ h, (ex.
