Pine and maple, original stained varnish, four fingers, with a half finger near the top of the rim, fitted with sewing materials, green brocade interior with tomato pincushion, bees wax, strawberry emery and poplarware needle case, all attached with green silk ribbons and bows, originally from the Hazel and Robert Belfit collection, and pictured on p. 148 Hands to Work, Shaker Folk Art and Industries, Klamkin, 1972, signed in script/pencil on bottom “Mary Dahm Trustee, Hancock Shakers, February 15, 1958.”, 4″ h, 11″ l.
