Smaller box, cherry and pine, five fingers, original varnish finish, certified by Sister Mildred Barker, tagged “Signed (old stamp) Cherry Oval fingered Box made by Delmer Wilson, the last Shaker Brother at Sabbathday Lake #7 #242″, small nail break at upper rim, otherwise very good condition, 4″ h, 11 1/8″ l, 7 1/2” d; Larger box, cherry, five elongated fingers, copper tacks, varnish finish, a note found with it stated “Large oval cherry fingered box made by last brother at Hancock, Massachusetts Shaker Community, Elder Ricardo Belden”, two small splits at either end of break, 6″ h, 13 1/4″ l, 9 1/8″ d.
