Butternut, original stained and varnish finish, single board top, breadboard ends, three graduated drawers, dovetailed, molded lips, turned pulls, inset panel ends, iron pegs at top of ends to hold sewing utensils, square to turned legs, Hancock, MA, c. 1850, (on a trip to Hancock, Eldress Emma King likely brought it back to Canterbury with her), 25 1/2″ h, 27″ w, 37″ w (top), 18″ d.
