American Watch Company, Waltham, MA, Model 83, 18-size, marked “U.S. Navy” on dial, Edwardian style of engraving, engraved on edge “M.A. Henson” (Matthew Henson, Deputy to Admiral Peary), and engraved on back “R.E. Peary, North Pole Expedition, 1908”, Full Plate 3,639,616, Fahys Silveroid #1, grade 25, SWLS (stem wind lever set), replaced crystal, good damaskeening and jeweled (probably 15), needs a new balance staff, 53mm case.
