Repousse plaque gold Garuda, mythical bird of Visnu, (tests 12K), Thailand, 3″ h; Three oval watercolor miniature painted portraits, two bearded Mughal emperors, and an Imperial lady, in silver frames, (purchased in Cambridge, MA, 1957); Two Persian silver amulet cases, round, 1 1/2″ and 2 1/4″, inscriptions in Arabic script on covers and edges; Cast brass head of Bodhisattva, Thailand, style of Ayudhya, 16th c. or later, (purchased in New York City, Fred Spanierman, 1949), exhibited Ancient Art, Chenery Library, Boston University, May-September 1961, mounted on a wood block; Cast bronze figurine of Kuan Yin, gilded, Wei Dynasty, 386-557 AD, broken in the middle, (purchased in Paris July 1958); Copper Vidyadhara (attendants of dieties) emerging from a cloud, Nepal, 18th or 19th c., on orange cloth background, 2 1/2″; (L.C. & P. Wyman collection).
