Four silhouettes by Charles Wilson Peale (Philadelphia, 1741-1827): an oval framed “Susan Tucker” (signed on front), under bust curve stamped “Museum”, 3 3/4″ x 2 5/8″ (sight); Another lady in round wood frame, with ribbon and flower on forehead, embossed under bust “Peale Museum”, 3 1/2″ dia (sight); Gentleman embossed “Museum”, (purchased in 1985 from Lewis Scranton, Poor Man’s Farm, Killingworth, CT), 4 1/8″ x 3″ (sight); Young gentleman facing left, in the original eglomise glass pine frame with gilt facing, embossed under bust “Museum”, (note: octagonal gilt with black outline eglomise opening), 4″ x 3″ (sight), 5″ x 4″ (glass); (ex.
