Three 19th c. brass framed hollow-cut silhouettes of young ladies, all by the same artist, all with gray watercolor dresses with puffy sleeves, and long chain necklaces, one is labeled “Emily Frost daughter of Washburn and Sally (Cady) born in Townshend, VT, 1821…married Joseph Melvin and lived in Nashua, N.H.”; another is labeled “Nancy Watson Smith, April 16, 186?”, exhibited at “Ordinary Folks, Extraordinary Art”, MacCulloch Hall Historical Museum, Morristown, NJ, Aug. 2001-Jan. 2002; all measure 3 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ (sight); (ex.
