19th c. plank seat, stencil back chairs, thumbback style, top slat with double cornucopia with roses and bottom slat with leaves and roses, stripe outlined in bright yellow, with orange and cream grain painted seats, splayed legs with box stretchers; and a plank seat rocker with thumbback stiles, carved crest with stenciled blue winged, yellow eyed bird, fruit and flowers in greens, yellow, reds and creams, bottom slat with fruit, fancy yellow stripe line decoration, 14″ seat h, 29″ overall h; (ex.
