Exceptional oval memorial in eglomise decorated frame, rare three-dimensional picture of a mother-of-pearl obelisk, a young girl floating to rays of heaven with her mother at the right holding her heart, woven hair backing in a beveled glass, and an oval blue stone with monogrammed initials (LAK?), (note: this was one of Howard’s favorite pieces of his collection because of it being a miniature, and it was also a memorial and was of such rare form), condition shows some paint loss below the seated mother, 2 3/8″ x 1 7/8″, (ex. Fertig collection).
