Lot 116: Porcelain Kutani Pieces

Teapot: hexagonal form and lid with the characters for good fortune and long life, a continuous scene of floral sprays with crickets and cricket cage. In iron red, black and extensive gold gilt, no handle, signed under lid, 6″ H, 2 7/8″ dia.

Small tea cup: very well executed with cartouches in the shape of fans, cherry blossoms, clouds containing floral sprays and flowering vines with a pair of red crowned cranes, delicately executed in polychrome enamels.
