Hutchinson Boston”, dovetailed case, crack in back part of lid, box – 4″ h, 7″ w, 6 3/4″ d, brass plaque on lid “Championship Boston Yacht Club, Class 2 won by ‘Eleanore’, 1907, Presented by Benjamin P. Cheney” (1866-1942), director of Wells Fargo & Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad”, includes a copy of the obit of Francis W. Fabyan of Boston who owned the Yacht Eleanor, the Eleanore was designed and built by Herreshoff.
