Very fine porcelain K’u vase, rectangular form, tapered cylindrical neck, high relief Trigrams on all sides, (“Great Ching Kuang Shu period made, 1875-1908″ – translation of six character marks on ring base), descended through the Brooks family of Salem, MA, good condition, 11” h. [Note: Brought to Salem, Massachusetts from China by William Franklin Spinney (1853-1929), graduate of Harvard, and Director of Customs for the Chinese Government off and on from 1874-1905.]
