(After Francois Auguste Rene Rodin, 1840-1917), Le Pinseur (The Thinker) bronze, signed “A. Rodin” and “Barbedienne. Found”, (the F. Barbedienne foundry started in Paris in 1838 by Ferdinand Barbedienne and Achille Collas), purchased at auction in New York City in the late 70’s, 30″ h, 15 1/2″ w (at base).
