Huggins (William John, UK, 1781-1845), of “South Sea Whale Fishery, A boat destroyed by a Wounded Whale.” off the island of Bouro, dated Jan 1, 1825, showing the “Amelia Wilson”, minor foxing and toning, (note: old tag on back “Property of Ames Loder, 144 Main St., Hingham, Mass”), found in an 18th c. house in Barnstable, MA that was scituated over the marsh, 18″ x 22 1/2″ (sight), 21 1/2″ x 25 1/2″ (frame), (ex. Dr. Oscar and Lois Hollander collection, Falmouth, MA).
