Ivory miniature spinning jenny with spinning wheel, turning the handle moves the delicately painted woman's head, decorated with blue and pink paint and heavily carved borders, made by French war prisoners, c. 1810, found at a Clint Norton estate auction in Kingston, MA, does not appear to be complete, 3 3/4″ h, 2″ w, 2″ d, (ex. Dr. Oscar and Lois Hollander collection, Falmouth, MA).
