Pasture scene with cows and herdsmen, signed on path l.l. “C.V.M.” (noted British monogrammist, 17th/18th c.), depicts cows resting along the side of a dirt road in the midst of being herded, minor touch-up to upper right sky, small paint loss in the center left sky, in a stained wooden frame, from the Roche family of Norwell, MA, 7 3/4″ x 9 3/4″ (sight).
