Two attributed to Charles Wilson Peale, one of a young girl, cut out onto fabric backing, period gilt frame, 3 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ (sight), the other of three children, with information about “White-Heads” or “blackheads” on reverse, applied to black paper background with eglomise four leaf clovers, period gilt frame, 4 1/4″ x 9″ (sight); the third a “White-Head” lady applied to black paper, lady identified on reverse “Married by the Rev. Alexander Bobbin, June 26th 1798, John Hetger to Elizabeth Geyer”, in stamped papier-mache oval frame, 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ (sight); (ex. Fertig collection).
