Decorated quill strap, with heavily etched turtle, bird and deer, also lightly etched men with weapons, animals, plants and some lettering, (note: attributed to use by a member of the turtle clan, Mohawk Tribe, Iroquois Nation, the Mohawks were geographically located near early New York colonists, and were among the first tribes to arm themselves to protect them from other tribes not in the Iroquois Confederacy), 12″ l.
