Blade with some blue, engraved with gilt floral and vines, shield with liberty pole and hat, brass hand guard, ribbed bone handle, eagle head pommel, 34″ l, scabbard leather and brass (28 1/2″ l) with brass rings, good original scabbard, c. 1812.
