Circa 1840, octagon barreled traveling pistol, engraved “London”, lock plate is engraved by the maker “Westwood”, displays engraved trigger guard, small silver acorn escutcheon, full-stocked with hand checkered grip, silver cap recess in butt end with caps, with wear, ramrod may be original, (note: a similar pistol exists in the Museums Victoria, U.K.), 10 1/4″ l.
