New England, pine, three-masted ship flying an American flag on the left, and another sailing vessel on the right, decorated triangular gilded corners to simulate a frame, cleated in the back with old paper cover, signed “painted by John Robinson” in pencil, and “Keep, Done by Family, Old” in marker as well, said to be from an estate in Putnam, CT, ex. Hollis Brodrick, crackle paint surface, single board 17 3/4″ x 23 1/2″.
