Oak, original natural finish, heavy reinforced rim (1 1/2″ w) with wood pegs through the top edge of the measure, bottom is also attached with wood pegs, wrap is attached with symmetrically measured steel nails and slightly beveled, dated on the rim “1851”, and initialed inside “G K”, (note: rare to find dated woodenware), 9″ h, 14 3/4″ dia.
