Pine rail, original darkened stain finish, turned hardwood pegs on both sides, with turned collar at each base, hung between two beams in an attic, possibly for drying herbs, c. 1840-1850, minor chips on some peg tops, 4' 2 1/2″ l, 3 3/4″ pegs, 2 1/2″ rail.
