Pine, yellow stained finish, slanted single board lid with two shaped splines to impede warping, opening to a deep well on the right and a shallow well on the left, finely dovetailed case, all on four turned feet with wood rollers, single cast iron side handle on left, turned peg on upper right, (possibly to hold a flour scoop), c. 1840-1850, 39″ h, 37 1/2″ w, 22″ d.
