Pine, original cherry red painted finish, half round molded top over two double vertical panel doors, with original Shaker turned cherry wood pulls, and original brass door locking mechanisms, two-shelf interior on both sides over two smaller flanking, dovetailed and lipped drawers, over five full-length lipped and dovetailed drawers, over finely carved squared feet, dated on the back “1853” in red paint, New Lebanon, NY, descended in the family of Abner Sherman Haight, founder of the Fruit of the Loom Company, (note: his son, Charles Sherman Haight, founded the Lebanon School for Boys in 1932), 6′ 6″ h, 51″ w, 19 1/2″ d, (ex.
