Boston or North Shore, serpentine top, mahogany and satinwood veneer, original finish, banded inlay, with satinwood, ebony and end grain mahogany, reeded and turned leg, with foliate carving at the top, accelerated taper foot with turned cuffs, 27 3/4″ h, 36″ w, 17 1/4″ d. This table was found in the 18th c. Hanover, MA home of the Bonney Twins (oldest living twins in America during the 1990’s). Willis Henry Auctions sold the contents at the home on Oct. 1, 1989. This superb table was kept by the family until now.
