Auction – Collection of 50+ timepieces including pocket watches, deck watches, and chronometers, many with military history such as Admiral Robert Peary, Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, Admiral David G. Farragut, Sir Ernest Shackleton, Captain E.V. Rickenbacker, General James Doolittle, Admiral Richard E. Byrd & others. This collection belonged to the late Commander William R. Bricker, who was a naval aviator during World War II. Bricker inherited the collection from his father and soon became an avid collector. Bricker’s collection was exhibited at the National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, PA from March 2001-March 2002.
